Ayahuasca Trip?
Re: Ayahuasca Trip
Well you can't blame me for trying!
I guess we'll do it together - all of us - step by step!
First thing to sort out, though, is where should we go?
The jungles of the Amazon are vast!

All in
I think it will work better with everyone who wants to go contributing to the organisation
I spoke to my brother...he goes to south america for 6 weeks every year.....loves it....well,its going to cost me $2,500 to get there and 16 hours of travel.
I agree with you about the ayahuasca group in Brazil...too touristy for my tastes...will check out others.
Didnt Anton have a friend who went?

I am down for this trip, of course we all will need to save up for it, and we would all have to find out where and when to go.

Everywhere! We shall make a voyage around the earth. All climates and atmospheres, all cultures and races, all continents, and even more!
We shall go to the moon, to mars, and to that which is beyond!

Sorry, LOL.
Just thought I'd add a little creativity to the thread. I can already feel the future alteredness affecting my brain!
No but really, one day I will try it, multiple times perhaps, and I think I would like to try it in the desert for my first time. Then maybe the rainforest, and finally the peaks of a snow covered mountain. Space would be another choice, maybe the moon or something. Getting there will be another issue, all on its own...

Re: Ayahuasca Trip
I also know of people who've brewed their own using plants ordered from the internet. Cheaper than flying to Brazil, but has some legal concerns depending on the plants you use.

Re: Ayahuasca Trip
While this is true the main reason for going there is to have the atmos of the jungle and real shamans contribute to the experience!WCH wrote:Brazil, but has some legal concerns depending on the plants you use.
An important aspect I think...

Re: Ayahuasca Trip
Oh, absolutely. At least, if you can find a real shaman and convince him or her to guide your experience. Chances are, if they're doing it for money, they aren't a real shaman, and, if they aren't, you're going to have some serious difficulties making this happen.
I totally agree that it'd be an amazing experience, just not totally practical. Brewing your own, while not quite as overwhelmingly cool, is still fairly cool, and a whole lot easier to do -- especially for anyone into Spagyric alchemy.

Yes, you are probably right.WCH wrote:Oh, absolutely. At least, if you can find a real shaman and convince him or her to guide your experience. Perhaps the best thing to do is just to wing it... go down there... get lost in the jungle and hope for the best.
Are there still cannibals down there or is that just a Western myth?
