What is more important to the Alchemist - Personal Freedom, or Contribution towards Fate?.

Can these be reconciled?

Are they the two sides of a same coin?

Any striving towards personal freedom is fated, n'est pas?
I don't find any contradiction. Just differences in perspective.

I can't speak for alchemists. I mean I don't know a purely alchemical
perspective on this. I'm a cluster of knowledges. Castaneda is one
of those knowledges that dominates my perceptions much of the time.
So I strive as if it matters knowing (and forgetting) that I don't make a difference.
Believing without believing, because a warrior has to believe.
