Indigo Children

Indigo Children are our new generation. All children who are born after 1992 have good chance to be an indigo child, but that doesn’t mean that adults can’t be indigo too!
Indigo Children are very different and have a unique character if you compare them with the generation of children that came before them.
The name indigo is the color of life. These children have it in their aura and this color represent the third eye chakra (intuition and psychic ability). The opening of the third eye is the final step of the alchemical process.
Indigo Children can be extremely emotional and sometimes physically sensitive and/or very talented, and they often possess a strong intuition (often much wiser than their age). It is also common that they suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder or Dyslexia.
Indigo Children have come into this world with difficult challenges to overcome. Their extreme levels of sensitivity are hard to understand and are not appreciated by most parents who don't share their gifts. Usually Indigo Children have disciplinary problems, and these create hardships both in child- and adulthood. But they are the ones who have come here to raise the vibration of our planet and to help us open our eyes. They are the ones who will bring us enlightenment to our lives!
Some Indigo Adult characteristics:
• Intelligent, creative and question everything.
• Loath repetitious work or things that are required of them i.e. they have rebellious tendencies.
• May have experienced early existential depression and feelings of helplessness.
• They rather manage a restaurant than be the waiter.
• They can’t tolerate stupidity, but may have great empathy for others.
• Either they show no emotion or cry at the drop of a hat.
• May have trouble with rage.
• Strong intuition and interest in the spiritual (it's common that they've had out of body experiences, or heard voices, seen spirits etc).
• Trouble with electricity, for example streetlights might stop working when approached.
• When they find balance they may become very strong, healthy and happy individuals.

Yes I have noticed the color on this forum... and I like it 
People who can feel auras, and see them, have told me that I'm one of them... and almost every point fits me...even the street ligth thing too... so I think I'm a indigo child
So how is it then? Many people say I'm weird but in a good way... when I was younger I didn't like to hear that but now I'm ok with it because I'm just doing what I want and feel like. And I did have a hard time in school because they teach us stuff we don't need to know in life...
So do you think you are indigo something? ...and this question is for every body!

Indigos & Going Crystal

It's funny because I just read a couple posts by our new forum member Gunderic Mollusk. I was impressed, which is rare, and then noticed his age listed as 24 I believe. My first thought was, "Ah, an Indigo. Now it makes sense." He talks like a young Indigo....at least to my ears.
A few years ago I discovered a really great site and writer, Sunfell, who's written many different articles about "Indigos" and "Octarines" as she calls them. IMO it's highly accurate information about this whole subject so here's a link. Enjoy.

On an odd note, I'd occasionally disrupt the radio, and often in winter I'd find that I was exceptionally prone to electrostatic shocks from metal. Perhaps I'm one of the Indigo Children, but I feel that we're all given to change and understand our current reality (or standard model, as the scientists call it. I find it heartening to hear that the scientific community has given up the idea of a static reality, given the constant stream of contradictory data these days. New Scientist and Discover magazines read like Grand Grimoires). I feel that for anyone to have a concept of what an Indigo Child may be, or an idea of a "blessed child" means that within their psyche and within that entire world is that being, who has no external physical body, who asks of those people to, perhaps, play.
