New Kid On The Block!

Post  BeautifulEvil on Wed Oct 10, 2007 4:28 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm originally from OccultForums but since there isn't a specific section dedicated to Alchemy I decided to join this board.

I really don't know what else I should say. I guess I could always give a biography, but that's useless. Wink

Either way, I hope to have some great discussions regarding Alchemy and the knowledge thereof.

Haha! I'm not really good with greetings, but I will try to give a small biography.

I've been a student of the occult for years! Currently I'm 20, and I started studying the realm of hidden knowledge at the age of 13. During 10th grade, at the age of 16, I had my first real peak of the godhead. I really can't describe it in words, because words fail to describe the experience. It was at this point that I realized all things are one, and none. The only way I could describe it was through contradictions. At this point all my friends had thought I lost it, even though I was quite sane. That was the beginning of my quest.

I could continue for many hours with this story, but I will cut things short.

Things I enjoy: Occult, Philosophy, The Violin, Reading (I have thousands of books, mainly nonfiction), Art, Science, Anime, Mathematics, Alternative History, Numerology, Chemistry, Astronomy, Language, Geography, Altered States, Meditation, Computers, Programming (c/c++, php, mysql, asp, vb, c#, html, perl, many other languages).

I'm interested in everything out there. My thirst for knowledge is great; like a fire unmatched!

I would also like to write a few non-fiction books, but these take time and with all the reading I do I'm unable to start anything major.

I must compliment you if you've read this far! Tongue

I managed... Tongue

Sounds great. I started at 13 too. I was reading my grandmothers big ol' Bible and I tripped on Joseph of Arimathea and how he gave Jeusus his tomb and fiddled with the Holy Grail. And one thing led to another and here I am. Too make it short.

Violin huh? Cool... I always wanted to be able to play that. I got a beat up one I bought from a gypsy in Romania (in the town where Vlad Tepes (or Dracula) was born.

All those things you are interested in can all relate to alchemy since it has many faces. Even the Violin... maybe you've come in contact with Pythagoras and the Music of the Spheres?

The old violins are the best, great pitch! If it's badly damaged (cracks, etc) you can have it repaired, it might cost a good deal depending on who repairs it and the amount of damage. How old is the violin? Do you know who built it?

All those things you are interested in can all relate to alchemy since it has many faces. Even the Violin... maybe you've come in contact with Pythagoras and the Music of the Spheres?

Everything can relate to alchemy, and everything can relate to anything if you examine it closely.

I have a few good books that mention the "Music of The Spheres" - one REALLY good Rosicrucian book - "Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception." I also have many books that discuss Pythagoras, and I'm unable to draw a conclusion yet (many things are still unknown, at least in my mind)

If you're interested, I could start a thread or two on these subject matters.

I don't know much about the Violin, but the Gypsy said it was pretty old though... I have been meaning to take it to a music shop and have 'em look at it. Just need to drag myself from this fucking computer Tongue
