Daniel was an alchemist, and was quite accomplished in the art. Here is an interesting quote from "The Book of Daniel."

[2:45] Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

And with this quote you can see that there is indeed a connection with the Philosophers' Stone!

55. The Philosophers' Stone is found in the oldest mountains, and flows from everlasting brooks; those mountains are of silver, and the brooks are even of gold: from thence gold and silver and all the treasures of Kings are produced.

That quote was from "The Hermetic Arcanum" if you're interested. If you haven't read it, I suggest you read it as soon as possible! Very interesting stuff, and quite an informative text.

Yeah the Bible is all allegory and alchemy! Third Eye

I re-discovered the Bible after I discovered alchemy... because I could see beyond the text, into the sub!

The bible is very interesting when read in an alchemical context.

It's said that Moses, Abraham, Solomon, Adam, and the wise men that came from the East to Christ, were great alchemists.

The Stone in The Book of Daniel Empty Re: The Stone in The Book of Daniel

From Wikipedia:
Moses and Monotheism is a book by Sigmund Freud... In it, Freud argues that Moses was actually an Ancient Egyptian and in some way related to Akhenaten, an ancient Egyptian monotheist... Freud contradicts the Biblical story of Moses with his own retelling of events claiming that Moses only led his close followers into freedom and that they subsequently killed Moses in rebellion either to his strong faith or to circumcision. Freud explains that years after the murder of Moses, the rebels formed a religion which promoted Moses as the Saviour of the Israelites. Freud said that the guilt from the murder of Moses is inherited through the generations; this guilt then drives the Jews to religion to make them feel better. Most historians since the 1960's reject the legitimacy of Psychohistory including Freud's theories.
From this the theory that Akhnaten gave the Emerald Tablet (that he in turn got from Thoth) to Moses, and this tablet figures in the Bible as the Ten Commandements, although in a altered state - more so in the KJV.

From this the theory that Akhnaten gave the Emerald Tablet (that he in turn got from Thoth) to Moses, and this tablet figures in the Bible as the Ten Commandements, although in a altered state - more so in the KJV.
Now this is highly interesting! Let me quote a few things from Paracelsus - The Aurora of The Philosophers
ADAM was the first inventor of arts, because he had knowledge of all things as well after the Fall as before. Thence he predicted the world's destruction by water. From this cause, too, it came about that his successors erected two tables of stone, on which they engraved all natural arts in hieroglyphical characters, in order that their posterity might also become acquainted with this prediction, that so it might be heeded, and provision made in the time of danger. Subsequently, Noah found one of these tables under Mount Araroth, after the Deluge. In this table were described the courses of the upper firmament and of the lower globe, and also of the planets. At length this universal knowledge was divided into several parts, and lessened in its vigour and power. By means of this separation, one man became an astronomer, another a magician, another a cabalist, and a fourth an alchemist. Abraham, that Vulcanic Tubalcain, a consummate astrologer and arithmetician, carried the Art out of the land of Canaan into Egypt,
whereupon the Egyptians rose to so great a height and dignity that this wisdom was derived from them by other nations.
Now this is interesting: is Thoth really Abraham?

This also:
So it was in the time of Moses, when both the priests and also the physicians were chosen from among the Magi – the priests for the judgment of what related to health, especially in the knowledge of leprosy. Moses, likewise, was instructed in the Egyptian schools, at the cost and care of Pharaoh's daughter, so that he excelled in all the wisdom and learning of that people. Thus, too, was it with Daniel, who in his youthful days imbibed the learning of the Chaldeans, so that he became a cabalist.
-------

I also wanted to add another quote from The Book of Daniel:

31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.
32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,
33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

The Stone in The Book of Daniel Empty Re: The Stone in The Book of Daniel

Let me throw this into the mix (in relation to ADAM) from a book called Atlantis - the antediluvian world by Ignatius Donnelly:
Adam was, it appears, a red man… Adam is derived from the red earth. The radical letters ADaM are found in ADaMaH, something out of which vegetation was made to germinate, to wit, the earth. ADoM and ADOM signifies red, ruddy, bay-colored, as of a horse, the color of a red heifer. ADaM, a man, a human being, male or female, red, ruddy. The Arabs distinguished mankind into two races, one red, ruddy, the other black...

And then we have this from the very same book:
…there is evidence that, from the highest antiquity, red was a sacred color; the gods of the ancients were always painted red… The idols of the Indians were also painted red, and red was the religious color… The Cushites and Ethiopians, early branches of the Atlantean stock, took their name from their sunburnt complexion; they were red men… The name of the Phoenicians signified red. Himyar, the prefix of the Himyaritic Arabians, also means red, and the Arabs were painted red on the Egyptian monuments. The ancient Egyptians were red men. They recognized four races of men--the red, yellow, black, and white men.
The name Adam is used in these legends, but as the name of a race, not of a man. Genesis distinctly says that God created man male and female, andcalled their name Adam. That is to say, the people were the Ad-ami, the people of Ad, or Atlantis.

Their mentioned in the Qur'an as well, the tribe of AD and the Shadad (the Giants).

The City was known as the City of Irem, you can find it on the wiki.

People who recounted tales of Irem, the city of one thousand pillars described it as having Gold and Silver walls and the streets paved in pearls and all kinds of precious stones upon the gates, however no one ever found such a city.

Mayans spoke of the Lost Seven Citys of Gold and we all know what that started with Cortez and the Spanish, they went plundering the jungle trying to find it.

So leaves us all asking the question, where did it go, people speculate about finding some of its ruins in the desert and their is talk of God smiting it into the dust, in the sutras of the Qu'ran you find "Do you not remember what became of the tribe of Ad"

God smote them into the dust... Or so we are lead to believe... Did he really now, or did it take off?

Seven Heavens, Seven Hells, Seven Stars, Seven Angels, Seven Seals, Seven Citys... Easy to see why crowley and other philosophers got fixated with the 777's Wink

Number 7 on the Periodic Table: Nitrogen

Oh and Seven Deadly Sins, God must have a thing for the number 7... Confused

Do you know why number six got scared? seven ate nine! LOL

Does this mean the age old adage of as above, so below is actually refering to this?

+15 <-- As above
+10
+5
0
-5
-10
-15 <-- So below

Heh, does that mean the sepher sephiroth is a molecule??

And lo! Jesus put dirt in a blind mans eyes and he could see again and lo! he turned the waters into (Red) wine.

But before he did all these things, he went wandering in the desert, I wonder, did he go to Irem?

Did he say "Drink of this wine for it is my life!" or did he really say "Drink of this wine for it is life!"
