A question of correlation
Hey everyone, I'm Loki. This is my first post other than the Introduction.
I was raised Pentecostal. Ever since I was a kid when i"m at my parents house we say the Lord's Prayer before we eat dinner. Since I've been exposed to alchemy and the emerald tablet, I think I've noticed as have many others the similar teachings of Gnostic Gospels and those of Alchemy, the whole Rosicrucian element, the influence of the Jesuits, the whole bag. What I'm getting at is some of the similarities between the Lord's Prayer and the Emerald Tablet. I'm not going to get into the whole thing but i want those with the ears to hear and with a discerning eye consider these words from the Lord's Prayer:Thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven

Re: A question of correlation
Oh yes they correlate (in that way that most everything from the bible does- at least to me)...however it's much better in Latin:
There's something green at Pentecost and on Gawain's shield that is quite interesting. Cheers...PATER noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.
