Technical issues viewing this site

I have been having some slight technical issues with the site and I thought I would ask if anyone else has experienced the same. Though its nothing that would keep me from coming back.

When I visit and the page loads, the logo appears in place but the text is all messed up. Heres a screen shot as its easier than trying to explain what I am seeing.



When I refresh the page, everything is displayed as it should be. Though upon going back to the forum home page, it again appears as it is above.

Some details about my computer:
OS - WinXP SP3 (also have used Win2K SP4)
Browser - Firefox 2.0.0.16 (happenes with all 2.x versions)
Internet connection - broadband/cable

I have visited with IE7 (briefly) and the forums displayed fine. So I believe this may be a Firefox issue.

If there are any other details which I may provide, I would be happy to. Thanks for your attention on this matter.

I am not a computer wiz... so I really don't know what is going on.

I use both PC and Mac - and I also use Explorer, Safari and Mozilla... but I have never experienced this!

I've had similar issues...but they are normally far and few between times.

I have the same problem, it doesn't happen often, but it does happen. I'm using firefox, and it's happened with 2+ and 3.0. So it's probably just a stupid programmer error on the part of forumotion.com.

Thanks for the replies. It doesn't bother me a whole lot, a quick 'F5' and the page reloads with no issue and I don't lose my text when making a post. I just hope it doesn't prevent any other potential future visitors from joining the site.

My personal theory, from my limited technical knowledge, is that its somehow related to the way Firefox handles CSS and as BeautifulEvil suggested, an error on the programming side at Forumotion. In which case it would be beyond my understanding.

If by chance I stumble onto a fix or what the root of the issue is, I will post it here. Thanks again.

I dont know if the Forumotion developers have noticed this thread or even better are readers of the site, but something has changed over the last two days while I was absent. When I visited tonight it seems the issue is a non-issue now. Pages display fine without the need to refresh. So to whoever/whatever is responsible for this improvement, a huge Thank You to you.
