Dead Sea Salt Wet Method....
WE Greet You in The Ineffable Name of The One,
In Extracting Ormus From Dead Sea Salt via The Wet Method, after the First Wash, i am Finding
that it is Taking Quite a While to Precipitate. Our Lab Stays Quite cool in the Winter so WE Have been
Thinking that Due to this, the Precipitate is Slower in it's Accumulation.
Any Thoughts Brethren??
In Love, Light & Peace Profound,
Hiram

Re: Dead Sea Salt Wet Method....
Welcome to the forum!
When I wash the precipitate (from Atlantic Ocean sea salt) I usually have to wait up to 6 hours till it falls down. Usually, some of it sticks on the walls of the container and I have to shake-rotate it a bit every hour for it to continue falling. So if you gonna repeat four washes, it takes some time. What comes to my mind in order to accelerate it, is to use a centrifugal apparatus: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centrifuge . Also, maybe if we use conical containers, it will not stick on their walls, but cannot say for sure.

The precipitate probably hasn't settled out of suspension yet. It'll take some time to fully settle out. Wait a good 24hr or so, and then see what happens.Thinking that Due to this, the Precipitate is Slower in it's Accumulation.
Both of these are really good tips. What comes to my mind in order to accelerate it, is to use a centrifugal apparatus: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centrifuge . Also, maybe if we use conical containers, it will not stick on their walls, but cannot say for sure.
Also, welcome to the forum friend! Why not make an introduction thread for yourself?

Re: Dead Sea Salt Wet Method....
I've read that it falls faster in the dark.
M-state should be protected from the light as often as possible anyways,
but make sure you have it undercover and it may precipitate faster.
I've noticed different rates of faling when I make it from different things.
I think it's good to fall very slowly - that means you have finer division of particles.
For example, potassium carbonate will produce a finer, thus slower falling, precipitate
than sodium hydroxide, probably because it is not as alkali so you're not
getting as concentrated areas when you add it.
Welcome brother(s)!

Re: Dead Sea Salt Wet Method....
Has Turned Out Perfect. A Most Excellent Yield, And Quite Potent.
Thank You.
