Greetings

Post  mescalinfusion on Sun Oct 28, 2007 3:53 pm

I't's great to find a forum dedicated to this. I've been a member of a few alchemy yahoo groups for awhile, but those aren't as fun to hang around and discuss stuff in.

I've been studying alchemy for over a year now. Practically, I am learning to make spagyric elixirs. In fact, in a few minutes, I'm going to extract the salt from the ashes of some dandelion roots! Academically, I'm studying the works of R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz and taking Adam Maclean's course on alchemical symbolism. I look forward to a lifetime of study and hard work! and some damn great discussions, too!

Cheers

Hey there... great to have a more practical alchemist here as we are too many spiritualists!

LOL

So, are those courses good that you are taking?

Anyway, welcome to Alchemy Forums!

Thanks all for the welcome! The courses are awesome! I say why in my reply to your reply in the topic "inner/outer". They're very much worth it and then some.

You lucky dog, Aunt Clair! The Paracelsus College is in Australia, based on the teachings of Frater Albertus. http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~panopus/

It's on the other side of the continent from where you are, but still. One day, I'll take the trip. I say hello to you from Canada, eh?

Welcome, and I'm happy to see you're a practical alchemist!

Maybe you should make a writeup of your work to post in the practical alchemy section, and it would be even better if you could document it with pictures. It would definitely be a neat addition to the board, and it might launch others into the great fun of lab alchemy.

I agree with deviadah in the sense that we need more practical alchemists.

Great idea. I'd be delighted to! Granted, I am quite busy at the time, and so have had little time for lab work, but when I do, I'll document it for the forum.
