Posting Advice
I've noticed that when you use the search feature there are two ways it searches:
1. By topic name
2. By post name
This means that if a subject is present in a post, but NOT in the name of the thread - or in the subject area of the post itself - it will not show.
So my advice is that if you want people who search for the subject you are writing about, and it is not in the title of the topic, then you should write tags in the subject area.
In fact if I am bored someday I might go through all my posts, at least those of substance, and place some tags there... perhaps you should too if you want people searching to find YOUR two cents!

Re: Posting Advice
That's difficult, sometimes like on Abrahadabra I will only remember a line someone said and then I will go to type in a sentence I remember, it may not have anything to do with the title, so I was searching here quite a few times one day and came up with nothing, so I assumed it was broken!
Re: Posting Advice
No, not broken... just a bad search feature... but what can you do...LadyHydralisk wrote:so I assumed it was broken!
Well we can make it better... as I said earlier if you want your post to pop up when searched make sure you give it a title (but keep it connected to what you write about)!
