Course on P.A. by John Reid
I have mentioned this before, but it would be interesting to see what others think of this course or if there are any valid points to be made:
Course on Practical Alchemy by John Reid
I like that it even includes what to buy and at what price:

Nice course. I hadn't even thought to look at it. It's funny - the best place to hide a rock is in a quarry.

Alchemy Evolution
John Reid explains in his Course on Practical Alchemy that alchemy “is all about isolating the vital force of life itself, isolating it so it can be condensed, purified, and manipulated to conform with the artist's will.”
In 1919 Ernest Rutherford did just this when he performed a transmutation by converting nitrogen into oxygen. When Reid writes that alchemy “is the art of evolution” he is correct, because nuclear power is the engine of evolution, of life, and it is with nuclear physics that we can synthesize noble metals. Nuclear physics and quantum mechanics have become the alchemy of the modern age.
This does not imply that nuclear power or nuclear weapons is the way to go, it only asserts the fact that the human race often get distracted by that which glitters rather than that which is useful. We still don’t know anything about the atom!

The course is probably worth it, but personally I would do the research myself. This leads to a more profound and personal understanding of alchemy and it's relation to the microcosm/macrocosm.
Radium is pretty interesting in and of itself, but in alchemy we're mainly concerned with low energy "non-nuclear" transmutations.
